Place to visit at Alleppy, Alleppy which is located in the Alappuzha District, that lies in the Kerala state which is one of the major tourist attraction in India. Alleppy which is basically known as Alappuzha which can be called as Venice of the East & very well known for Backwaters and Boathouse  It is the top cleanest town in India and that is considered to be the oldest city in this region. There are some places to be visited in alleppy which are as follows:

In Kerala there are many different beaches can be seen & a major tourist attraction of Kerala. Alappuzha is a beach in Alleppey town which we can go for an evening to get the breeze of the wind A very popular place with Indian locals, tourists and courting couples. Another beach which is called Manari Beach & It is a very quiet beach and is known as a spot for picnic and beach strolling. You can also enjoy sunset and sunrise here. The water is safe and clean for swimming and other water-related activities.

All we have heard tales of timeless love. In India, we have one of its finest examples- the Taj Mahal. It was created by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife Mumtaz. Betty Karan built Revi Karuna Karan memorial museum at Alappuzha in memory of her loving husband.  It has a very good collection of artifacts like crystals, ivory items, crockery, sculptures etc imported from various countries.

International Coir Museum. There is a wide range of beautiful handicrafts like Taj Mahal, utensils, animals, birds, images, bags, ornaments, household goods, etc, all made out of coir, displayed in this museum. This is a hidden gem! lots of historical and geographical information in the displays.  Staff will be there for a detailed guided tour.


Temple’s

There are different types of Temples are located at Alleppy which is Mannarasala Sree Nagaraja Temple which is very ancient temple which is meant for pilgrims of devotees of the serpent i.e. Nagaraja god. And the temples which include 30,000  images of snakes & mostly woman seeking fertility come here to worship the god. another Temple which is Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna temple located in Alappuzha District of Kerala this is an ancient temple which believed to be built in the year AD 790. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is said to be connected with Guruvayoor Sree Krishna Temple.

Pathiramanal is a bird watcher’s paradise. The name ‘Pathiramanal‘ which means “Sands of Night“.  Estimates say that the area has the majority of local species of birds and migratory birds. One can see Ducks, Common Teal, Night Heron, Cormorant, Darter, Indian Shag, Purple Heron, Cattle Egret, Indian Pond Heron, Little Egret, Bronze-winged Jacanas, Stork-billed Kingfisher, Whistling Duck, Cotton Pygmy-Goose, Little Cormorant and Whiskered Tern.  Avid bird watchers will indeed find few other places that rival Pathiramanal. Surrounded by the Vembanad Lake, stretching from Alappuzha to Kochi and the Kayamkulam Lake, Pathiramanal is accessible only by boat. It is an ideal pit stop in the middle of a houseboat ride.

It is situated at the hands of the river Kaveri in the district of Alleppy.the family in the old house with a temple they workship elephants like gods and take good care of elephants. In the morning time, we can able to see the elephant’s & we can interact with the elephant such as elephant bathing in the river. Elephant Training camp has some minimal amount for which they charge for interaction with the elephant. And we can also ride on the back of the elephant.
