How To Reach?

By Air:-  Jodhpur owns a domestic airport within 5 kilometers from the city. This airport is well-connected to other major cities of India. Once you reach the airport, you can hire a cab or autorickshaws.

By Rail:- There are about seven railway stations in Jaipur, with the main being Jaipur Junction. These railway stations are connected to different parts of India.

By Road:- If you are planning to visit J  via road you can opt for convenient and pocket-friendly buses. If you are planning to visit Jaipur through self-drive then Jodhpur is well-connected via National Highway number.

Jaswant Thada

Jaswant Thada which was built in 1899 by Maharaja Sardar Sing where they belong to Royal Family of Marwar was built in memory of his father. The Jaswant Thada is built out of carved sheets of marble which is made of pure white marble commonly known as Tajmahal of Mewar.

Things To Do: The view from the lakeside location of Jaswant Thada, Historical memorial things of royal families and Street  Musician and singers performing their tradition.

Visiting Hours: 9.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m

Entry Fee: 30 Rs for Tourists & 15 Rs for Indians. Additional Fee for capturing Image and Video 25 & 50 respectively.

 

Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park

Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park is a unique attraction one must visit which is situated near Mehrangarh Fort. The park is an ecologically restored zone that once existed and died over the years. The Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park in Jodhpur boasts of multiple species of flora and fauna.

Mehrangarh Fort and Museum

The architecture of Mehrangarh Fort would leave you stupefied! The strong exterior wall has extremely gentle glasswork interiors that will transport you into another era completely. One can spend up to 3-5 hours in Mehrangarh Fort on seeing its historic beauty. Some of the festivals celebrated in Mehrangarh Fort are International Folk Festival which takes place in the month of October on the full moonlight with various music and arts to encourage their traditional cultures

Umed Garden
