Shillong Peak is the most popular tourist spot which attracts many tourists throughout the year. The origin name of Elephanta Falls was Ka kshaid layi patang khoh siew. Then the Britisher renamed as Elephanta Fall. which is located around 6-8 km from Shillong. Elephant fall which is simple and beautiful three level waterfall with the enchanting view of the fall will surprise you. There can’t be anything more romantic than snuggling with your loved-ones watching a collection of falls merging into one.

Shillong Golf Course
Shillong Golf Course was established as a 9-hole golf course in 1898 by the British Civil Service Officers. It is one of the third oldest Golf Course in India. The course is located in a scenic valley surrounded by pine and rhododendron trees, which is also home to many varieties of birds. Owing to its greenery and scenic beauty, the United States Golf Association and Museum have given it the title of ‘Gleneagle of the East’. Which is well known for its scenic view.

Police Bazar which is a one-stop market for every tourist. It is a modern market that has a number of hotels, shops and eating joints. Cleanest village in Asia
Mawlynnong village in Shillong is the cleanest Village in Asia, which is famous for its cleanliness and natural attraction. In this village, they follow the strict rule which made their village such as plastic bags are banned, and smoking is prohibited and they use Dustbin’s made of Bamboo. If they fail or misbehave these rule’s penalty has been charged heavily. One must visit the place for its cleanliness nature. Tree House is also available here.
